I’m a Southern Appalachian woman, a momma to two sons, a storyteller, and a lifelong family-history detective.

I’m fascinated by where we come from, the stories our families carry, and the places that shape us. But I’m just as interested in what happens after we inherit those stories—how we grow, change, heal, laugh, love, and become our own people.
